Opening Reception: German Iowa and the Global Midwest Exhibit

 Join us on the Mezzanine at the Downtown Library between 11 am and 1:30 pm as we introduce the historical exhibit from the University of Iowa’s Old Capital Museum as it stops in Cedar Rapids on its tour of Iowa! Partake of some light refreshments, view the exhibit, and enjoy the Iowa Accordion Club's performance in Whipple at 11:30, featuring a selection of German folk songs and melodies, and stay for a lecture filled with historical insights in Whipple at 1:00 pm.
